About Me

I am a Branch manager and have been a Licensed Loan Officer in Texas since 2005. I am currently also licensed in CA, CO, OK, LA, TN, NC, GA, FL, & VA. I became a loan officer after graduating w/ a finance degree, and realizing as much as I love working with numbers, that I also love working with people. A true People Person!! I love helping clients to find the right options for purchasing a home that will work best for their family. I pride myself on communication and making sure everyone throughout the home buying (or refinancing) process has a clear understanding and that I or my amazing team is always available to answer questions!!

I have been married to my husband Nick (VP of Capital Markets for Open Mortgage) for 15 years and we have two amazing boys that keep me super busy!! We are a super active family who use football, wrestling, baseball, basketball, jiu-jitsu, and weight training to stay healthy.

I have been lucky enough to be recognized in the Scotsman Guide 2021 & 2022 as one of the Top Loan Originators in Texas and my branch "The Whitten Team #LoanLadies" is routinely in the top 10 Producers for Open Mortgage. If that isn’t enough, you can read our amazing reviews on Reach150!

I work with all types of clients and have extensive experience in most loan programs. I also specialize in first-time homebuyers and down payment assistance programs, and love to help clients' dreams become a reality!!!

Programs available: FHA, VA, USDA, Conventional, Jumbo, Portfolio products, ITIN, Manufactured Housing.
