Open Mortgage SVP of Marketing Adam O’Daniel named to HousingWire 2022 Rising Stars List
Today, HousingWire announced the 2022 Rising Stars, spotlighting 50 leaders under the age of 40 who are driving the mortgage, real estate, and fintech industries forward, including Open Mortgage’s SVP of Marketing Adam O’Daniel.
This year’s Rising Stars were selected by HousingWire’s selection committee based on their professional achievements within their organizations, contributions to the overall housing economy, community outreach, client impact, and personal success.
“The hard work of this year’s Rising Stars is apparent in their long list of accomplishments and their perseverance in an ever-changing housing environment,” HousingWire Editor and Chief Sarah Wheeler said. “These up-and-coming leaders are breathing new life into an industry that has so much room for innovation — it’s exciting to imagine how their contributions will impact what’s to come in housing.”
O’Daniel brings more than 15 years of experience in marketing, branding, communications, and financial services to the Open Mortgage team, having formerly served as Marketing and Communications Director at Movement Mortgage for six years, where he led social media and marketing strategy, multimedia production, branding, events, public relations, and corporate communications.
Since joining Open Mortgage in November 2021, O’Daniel has helmed numerous projects to energize Open Mortgage’s marketing strategy and presence, including a brand update, the rollout of a new company website, joinopenmortgage.com, and establishing multiple tiers of marketing support to support the company’s vision to grow to $4 billion in annual originations by 2024.
“I’m grateful to HousingWire for honoring so many talented leaders in our industry. Professional recognitions say a lot about the teams you’ve been a part of, and I’ve had the privilege to work with some incredible teams since joining this industry. I’m excited about our vision for growth here at Open and the way our team is making it a reality with creativity and inspired work every day,” O’Daniel said.
The list includes entrepreneurs, marketers, operations experts, technology innovators, and much more. While the winners represent a wide variety of industry functions, they all demonstrate leadership and innovation that inspires not only those within their own organizations but in their communities and in the industry at large.
“This year’s list of Rising Stars honorees is entirely composed of housing professionals who never settle for the status quo — they work hard, take risks and raise their hands when new opportunities present themselves,” said Clayton Collins, CEO of HW Media. “This determination is the embodiment of the Rising Stars award and we’re privileged to have these leaders moving the housing economy forward.”
